To pick up the badge with the ruler, you need to move and center the ruler on the badge and release it.
An animation will happen, and the badge will be picked up.

I need help in the secret room in the garage. The top drawer will not close so I can get anything out of the second drawer.
Ok, been waiting 10 days for some help now. both here and in a direct email. guess it's about time to just uninstall this game and move on.
