The method for closing/restarting an application on a mobile device can vary depending on the device and operating system you are using. Below are some common methods for closing apps on popular mobile devices:
- On Android: Tap the "Recent apps" button (usually located at the bottom of the screen) to view open apps. Swipe left or right to find the app you want to close and swipe it up off the screen.
- On iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the App Switcher. Swipe left or right to find the app you want to close, then swipe it up off the screen.
- Some devices have a "recent apps" button which allows you to access your recently used apps and close them by swiping them away.
- On some devices, force closing an app through settings can also be done as mentioned in my previous answer.
Note: If you are not able to locate the recent apps button, check the device manual or do a quick online search for instructions specific to your device model.
